What does NOWJOBS do?

With NOWJOBS you can post jobs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, wherever you are. You can find students and get a contract in no time. Just like that!

I don't have a smartphone, but would still like to use NOWJOBS to advertise a temporary job.

Good news: As an employer, you can also use the NOWJOBS web portal. How do you do that? Click on "Login" at the top right and log in with your e-mail address and password.

What does NOWJOBS do?

Profile
How can I create a profile?

Creating a profile is actually quite simple. You download the app or register on the website and indicate that you are an employer looking for students. Within 5 minutes your profile is complete and you can start posting jobs.

How can I verify my email address?

You will then receive an email with a link to confirm your email address.

How can I change my profile?

You can edit your profile via the "Settings" button in the top right corner of the app. Please note that if you change your details, they must first be validated by the NOWJOBS team before you can post jobs again. Have you changed your details? Call us on 0241/463122-61 and we will check you immediately.

I don't need temporary workers at the moment, what should I do?

If you do not post any vacancies, you will not get interested students. As soon as you want to hire someone again, you have to publish a new vacancy.

Why do I have to upload a photo?

A photo makes it much more personal. Students want to see who is engaging them.

I have created a profile but am waiting for validation, what should I do?

Call us on 0241/463122-61 and we will prioritise your profile.

How can I verify my phone number?

Simply use the code you receive by SMS, then enter the code in the app and off you go!

Posting a job offer costs you nothing! The salary costs are presented transparently for every interested applicant. So you can make your own choice based on skills and costs. You only pay if someone has actually worked for you. The costs depend on the age and/or experience of the applicant.

What if my invoice is not correct?

If you have any questions about the invoices, you can contact us by e-mail or telephone.

Can I submit a review for a candidate who did not show up?

If a candidate has not appeared, you cannot write a review. However, the absences will be taken into account in future matching. This way, the undeclared worker will see far fewer jobs to apply for and future employers will see that they are unlucky not to be able to count on that undeclared worker.

From the "Favourites" tab, you can click on "Invite" at the top right. There you have the choice of having your student scan the QR code or inviting the sideline earner via SMS/Whatsapp/Facebook or email by clicking on "Invite Team".

How can I send a job offer to my own group of employees?

If you want to publish a job but only invite your own favourites, you can specify this in the last step. You have the choice between "invite all available applicants" or "select from your favourites". When you send the job offer to your favourites, they will be notified and can in turn express their interest if they can come to work. This way you can easily use the app as a communication tool and quickly find out if someone from your favourites can take on an open shift.

How can I pay my own student a higher wage?

Would you like to offer your guest additional income? This is easily possible via the "Favourites" tab. Find the wage earner in your favourites whose wage you want to change, select "Settings" and click on "Set hourly wage". Once you have clicked "Save" at the bottom, the adjusted wages will be adjusted for newly scheduled contracts.

How do I know if someone will actually come to work?

After you have sent someone a contract proposal, that person has the option to accept it. If the contract proposal is accepted, the person can sign the contract and you will be notified.

Can I change the number of hours in a contract?

You can change the hours of a contract in the app. On the "Planning" tab, you have the option to change the original hours and the date of the contract. Once you have changed these, the student will receive a new contract proposal in the app which they can accept.

How is the duration of the shift communicated?

Through NOWJOBS, students are paid monthly. As an employer, it is important to always confirm the hours in the app or web portal when the shift is over. You can do this via the "To do" button on the home screen of your app or by going to "Planning" where you can click on the "Give feedback" button.
